If you live in an area where people are disconnected, can be rude, and it is impossibe to meet a significant other, would it help to move where there is more socialization and meet up groups?
I guess it would. However you might discover that people anywhere can be rude and disconnected.
I think a medium sized city (50,000 to 200,000 inhabitants) would be a good start. To big for people to know everyone, too small to swallow it’s citizens.
But don’t pack your stuff just yet. Try first! Visit some places over a weekend and do stuff: visit bars, libraries, shows, and talk to the people.
